Dr. Melanie Oltmanns – Dr. Melanie (Miller) Oltmanns was born in Hettinger, ND where she also graduated from high school as Salutatorian.  Her undergraduate work was completed at Dickinson State University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in Composite Science and Spanish.  Dr. Oltmanns attended Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR.  She is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the North Dakota Optometric Association where she currently serves as Immediate Past President.  She enjoys working with patients of all ages, especially children.  Dr. Oltmanns and her husband Klayton have two children, Austin and Alyssa.

Dr. Nate Shilman – Dr. Shilman was born in Aberdeen, SD and graduated from Bowman High School.  He graduated Cum Laude from the University of Mary with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  He received his Doctorate of Optometry with Distinction from Pacific University College of Optometry in 2004.  Dr. Shilman is an active member in the North Dakota Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association where he is a member of the Contact Lens and Cornea Section.  He has worked with Dr. Oltmanns since 2004 and enjoys practicing full scope optometry.  Dr. Shilman is active in the Roughrider Country Kiwanis organization and currently serves as President.  Dr. Shilman and his wife Angie have two children, Jacob and Lucas.
